So remember to remove the search filters (see photo below).

The Colors armchair: a seat with a creative design

First of all, the Colors armchair, inspired by geometric lines, fits in with any style of office, meeting room or home. See more photos in the dedicated document.

The seat assembly has been designed so that each component is in visual harmony with the rest of the chair. As a result, fabric, plastic and paint are all in the same monochrome.

Colors has a strong visual impact, and color is its primary essence.

That’s why you can choose from four trendy colors:

Violet, coral, chalk and black.

You can keep to classic tones with the chalk color and black version, or give free rein to your color desires by choosing purple or coral. So this armchair will suit all interiors, whether classic or more contemporary.

In fact, it has been awarded the 2021 IF design prize in the “best office product” category. This trophy is awarded by design professionals from over fifty countries in six disciplines.

 

The Colors armchair: a comfortable armchair

But this chair isn’t all about looks.

First and foremost, the Colors armchair is designed for optimum comfort.

All the functions needed for a comfortable seat are concealed in this seat. The Colors chair is ergonomic and easy to use.

Firstly, the woven backrest with its triangular pattern provides optimum support, neither too soft nor too firm. What’s more, it’s breathable thanks to its special 3D mesh.

In addition to the backrest, you’ll enjoy lumbar support with a padded, height-adjustable cushion. All you have to do is adjust it to enjoy its comfort.

For even greater ergonomics, the seat is depth-adjustable. You can adjust the seat length to suit the size of your legs.

In fact, the seat is on a sliding drawer, and a simple lever under the seat allows you to adjust it.

To support your forearms, the Colors armchair features a pair of height-adjustable armrests. The system works by rack and pinion. A complicated word for a simple operation. Simply raise the armrests to adjust them. And when you reach maximum height, the armrests return to their initial position.

Last but not least, the Colors armchair incorporates a mechanism by German brand Bock. A sure bet!

This mechanism is synchronous, i.e. the seat and back tilt together. The force of the mechanism is regulated by a small roller under the seat, and can be adjusted to suit your weight.

You can also lock the backrest in three positions. Of course, you can leave the backrest unlocked.

Sitting comfortably at the office isn’t as easy as you might think.
Sitek gives you some tips on how to improve your comfort at the office:

First of all, the seat: (it’s kind of our specialty…)

  • Height-adjustable
    Knees should be at a 90° angle and feet flat on the ground.
  • Depth adapted to thigh length.
    For optimum adjustment, we recommend a seat with depth adjustment via seat translation.
  • Height- and tilt-adjustable backrest
    If your seat is synchronized, take advantage of moments of relaxation or telephone conversation to unlock the mechanism and tilt yourself. This allows you to relax your muscles and vary your positions.
  • 5-star base
  • Castors to match floor covering

Your working environment :

  • No light sources within 30° of the eyes
    As far as possible, prefer natural light to artificial light.
  • Temperature between 23 and 26° C in summer and 20 and 24° C in winter, atmosphere neither too dry nor too humid.
  • No annoying ambient noise
  • No draughts

Your work organization :

  • Interrupt your activity regularly by changing activities: alternating with any activity that doesn’t require you to look at the screen, taking breaks, etc.
  • Look up from your screen, gaze into the distance
  • Do short stretching exercises
  • Install a few photos and personal objects, some green plants
